Common Questions About Hypnosis

I don't know if I can be hypnotized? 

This is a normal concern for many clients. The truth is, everyone can be hypnotized if they are a willing participant. Our brains naturally go in and out of this state everyday. The theta states is the sweet spot that we reach when we zone out, right before we go to sleep, when we meditate, or even when we watch TV. So yes, you can definitely participate if you are open and willing. 

What if I can't see anything?

It's okay, don't doubt yourself. Most everyone is capable of recalling memories, remembering images, daydreaming, and exploring the creative process within. Plus, I will be there to help every step of the way. For practice, actively engage with your right brain (your creative mind) everyday. Set aside 5-10 minutes to close your eyes and recall fond memories, invision a dream vacation, or think of everything you are grateful for. Don't doubt yourself you can do this!

What should I do to prepare?

Meditation is a wonderful tool for daily practice. This will help get you in that relaxed theta brain wave state. You can watch Susan Spooner's video Suzanne Spooner's Four Great Tips for a Successful QHHT Session.  Also, don't hesitate to listen to other QHHT session online or watch Delores Cannon's lectures.

Step One:

Schedule a free phone consultation. This will be a great opportunity to find out if a session is a good fit for you.  We will talk about the QHHT practice, any questions or concerns, and go over prep for the session.  

Step Two: 

After we complete a phone consultation and both parties agree this is a good fit, you are ready to schedule your session. A non-refundable deposit will be needed at this time.

Step Three:

On the day of your session try to limit caffeine intake in the morning. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring your prepared list of questions for us to review. Also, bring something to eat for after the session to help you feel grounded. Feel free to bring a morning snack and drink if needed.
